Feel At Home at Kubo Sa Dahican

One of the tourist attractions that Mati, Davao Oriental could proudly endorse is their beach.  It is very ideal especially for those who want to go surfing and skim boarding.

Because of the growing number of visitors in Mati beach, the demand for accommodations has also increased. No wonder new resorts are being developed to accept visitors from neighboring cities when they visit Dahican, Mati, Davao Oriental and one of these is the “Kubo Sa Dahican”.

“Kubo sa Dahican” was developed less than a year ago. The resort is currently on the Development stage but not totally underdeveloped because they can now actually accept visitors. In fact, we stayed at “Kubo sa Dahican” when we visited Mati last month.

What is good about Kubo sa Dahican is that, you can relax there and just feel at home. It is a new place in Dahican where you can feel at home away from home. They have installed Kubo units where people can stay and sleep and just relax. Despite being new in the business, Kubo sa Dahican has a very promising future because you can definitely enjoy the place and do a lot of things.

Let’s take a look at the Kubo first. Well, it’s not exactly the kubo as in the Nipa hut. I may say, it’s an improvised kind of Kubo, this is how it looks like:

They actually have four units of Kubo which can accommodate 2 to 3 persons. They call this Kubo Tepee. 

For a group consisting of 10 to 15 persons, you can rent their Kubo house. Basically, it’s the same Kubo but obviously way bigger than the Kubo Tepee:

They also have Kubo Condo-Room good for 3 to 5 persons.

If you just want to go there to enjoy and swim, you can rent their cottages.

And what else you can do in the beach aside from eating? Of course swim…. Kubo sa Dahican is not only offering Kubo ans cottages but also an infinity saltwater pool. You don’t need to go to the actual beach which is about 50 meters away just to experience the sea.
